The power of the Internet - getting cider to Australia!
If you've been following the Twitter feed, you might have noticed a little conversation between ourselves and @davecann regarding cider in Australia.
What happened was that Dave emailed us to ask whether we could send him some cider to his home in Australia. We checked the delivery cost to Aus and it was really off the scale, not really an option. He mentioned that he thought it was possible to find Weston's Stowford Press in Australia but he didn't know where.
The punks set to work to research this problem, and in short order we found that the importer in Australia for Weston's cider was World Brands Australia, so we emailed them to ask if they distributed to outlets in Melbourne, where Dave lives.
It took a week or two, but eventually they replied with an outlet not too far from Dave. We tweeted the good news across, and a happy Dave replied with a link to the Google street view of the shop!
The moral of the story: it's good to ask.
